    Notes:
    Home to the 100th Bombardment Group (Heavy) / 100th BG, flying the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. They were known as "The Bloody Hundredth" due to the very high losses suffered in combat. The spirit of the 100th lives on in the UK as the 100th Air Refueling Wing / 100th ARW. Based at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk the 100th ARW was activated on 1st February 1992 flying Boeing KC-135 Stratotankers.
